National Geographic Kids has the "Ultimate" Christmas gift. Good afternoon! Ultimate Weird But True is so FUN for the holiday season.
"It has over 1000 wacky facts, 200 themed spreads feature incredible animal antics, wacky inventions, freaky weather phenomena, stupid human tricks, nature's most bizarre creations and much more. The "Ultimate Secrets Revealed" features explain how the most mind boggling facts are possible. Ultimate Weird But True, the next installment in the blockbuster Weird But True series, is a super-sized hardcover book that kids will pore over for months and return to for years to come."
My children have had so much fun looking through this book. The book has a nice hardcover, and the pictures are so bold and with bright colors. The book is put together really well. My daughters liked everything animal related. The weirdest animals were a BIG HIT. The star-nosed mole, the furless cat, and the Zedonk were interesting. Who knew there is a Zebra/Donkey out there.
One of my favorite random facts: Peanut Butter can be converted into a diamond, so can broccoli, flower petals, butterfly wings, and pencils. SWEET!!
I would recommend this book to all ages. My daughters spent hours going through the entire book.
You can check out the Weird But True App which has a 5 star rating here:
