Are you a Gleek? Well..I can't say I am a full-fledged Gleek, but I really like the show. I watched all of Season 1, and then slightly strayed during Season 2. I didn't like some of the themes the show was taking. However, the music has won out. I finally finished watching Glee Season 2. I know the music is very catchy and for that reason my 5 and 7 yr old daughters would love to watch Glee, but it is not appropriate for younger ages. Glee in my opinion is for high school age children and older, and I would even be careful to talk with my kids about the issue that come up in the movie. Speaking of Glee--I am currently hooked on Season 3 because of a reality show they had over the summer. It was called The Glee Project. They had a competition to see who could win a role on the show for Season 3. I was very happy with the winners and can't wait to see them appear on the show. Be sure to buy Season 2 of Glee, it is currently out on Blu-Ray and DVD for your at-home viewing pleasure.
Currently for every Blu-Ray and DVD purchased a $1 will be donated to save arts and music programs in the public schools. You can check-out GleeGiveANote for more details. There is a $1 million guaranteed donation!! I think arts and music is an important program in the schools. I enjoyed Band growing up, and even just regular music classes in elementary school.
