I Spy a Dragonfly Review/Giveaway

I love children's books. I love reading to my kids, and I really have a hard time not looking at books when it comes to thrift stores or yard sales. Can never pass up a good book!! I never leave a bookstore empty handed.

I recently had the opportunity to read Carla Burke's children's book: I Spy a Dragonfly.
This book is an easy read, and perfect for my kindergartener to sound out the words without being overwhelmed. It is a cute story of a little boy and his discovery of dragonflies, and sharing the adventure with his mother. The book also includes some coloring/activity pages at the end of the book. I was able to make copies of the pages and use them to further our lesson on Dragonflies.
Thank You so much, Carla, for sharing your talent with me and my children.

Keep an eye out for her new book that is about a girl who suffers from a severe peanut allergy.

This is what I discovered "It just goes to show the amount candy and foods that are unsafe for a peanut-allergic"
My son is allergic to citrus acid, so I am always reading labels and I never thought Candy was unsafe for Peanuts-allergies

"This is so scary to me as a mom of a child who is anaphylactic to peanuts.  Who knew?  I've never put peanut butter in my chili, but some do.  You will NEVER find this recipe in my home."

I follow via GFC as Carole Spring - at least I think I do.

I followed rantsravesandpetpeeves.blogspot.com, but it had been awhile since I 'visited'. I was re-directed here to this site. I clicked on the sign-in link for GFC and it appears that I am following you. Are you able to check from your end and let me know? Thank you!
